Most gave some, some gave all. In honor of this day, I wish to send a thank you to my deceased family members that proudly served: my father, Lee Thomas (Vietnam), grandfather, Clifford L. Thomas Jr.(WWII), great-uncle Robert Thomas (WWII), and great-great grandfather Christ P. Stege (WWI) for serving in our nation’s military.
We are currently camping up at Higgins Lake KOA and it is weird. The campground is usually full and bustling during the holiday weekend, but due to Covid-19 it is eerily empty. Besides the Four Families maybe 20 other sites are occupied. All of the beaches are closed along with the camp store and all amenities. Like I said, weird!
