Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers out there that are present in their children’s lives! We deserve a day off to cook on the grill and mow the lawn and clean the garage! Right? Hell yeah!
Speaking of our children, mine are in Band and this year has been a trying one for them. Their band instructor has retired and the new instructors are bringing a new perspective to the fray and the kids are rebelling. On top of that my son, a senior this fall, will have his schedule tossed around. He is being forced to choose between Band, his favorite class, and the Early College Program! WTF!! The Anchor Bay School District is really screwing with the kids and kicking them when they are down! I am beyond pissed and this really isn’t the place to let it fly.
Happier News! Book 2: New Homestead is flying right along, not sure if I’ll be able to make my deadline of July 1st, but I am trying my hardest to get it done.
