Howdy loyal readers! I have been so busy with working on the bookcases that they are almost done! I have also bit the bullet and purchased a new laptop! I am now the proud owner of an HP EliteBook 840 G3, with a 512GB SSD and 16GB of RAM! I love it! It is so fast and clean compared to my daughters POS, that we purchased last year for $200. I am hoping to use this new laptop to write my next book and any other books that come along!! I am a little bit perturbed with the G & H & B buttons since there is a mouse control embedded between them. I am sure that I will get used to it in time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have also been swamped with work right now. My job is killing me with time management and workload. I think that I have a grip on it now, but last week was a nightmare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My bookcases are almost complete.\u00a0 I have sprayed them with my air compressor spray gun and thinned out Polyurethane.\u00a0 They look great!\u00a0 All that is left now is to steel wool them, move them downstairs, attach them to the wall, add the crown molding then finally add the books!\u00a0 I am so close!\u00a0 This weekend would have been the best time to do that, but it is also Memorial Day weekend.\u00a0 We are camping up north at Higgins Lake KOA.\u00a0 Yes, even though the COVID-19 is running rampant we are going camping.\u00a0 Wish us luck!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
