Thomas Jr.(WWII), great-uncle Robert Thomas (WWII), and great-great grandfather Christ P. Stege (WWI) for serving in our nation\u2019s military.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are currently camping up at Higgins Lake KOA and it is weird.&nbsp; The campground is usually full and bustling during the holiday weekend, but due to Covid-19 it is eerily empty.&nbsp; Besides the Four Families maybe 20 other sites are occupied.&nbsp; All of the beaches are closed along with the camp store and all amenities.&nbsp; Like I said, weird!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hope everyone is having a fun-filled, but safe, holiday weekend!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most gave some, some gave all.&nbsp; In honor of this day, I wish to send a thank you to my deceased family members that proudly served:&nbsp; my father, Lee Thomas (Vietnam), grandfather, Clifford L.
