Today marks the 10 year anniversary of the passing of my father, Clifford L. Thomas III. 10 years. A decade. My god, how could the time have flown by so quickly? So much has happened in that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My son has almost completed high school, has a job and a steady girlfriend, and is halfway through his Associate degree from college!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My daughter has started drivers training and will be starting her Junior year next year! She is excelling in her studies and is becoming a wonderful young woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve switched jobs and have published two novels, while working on more. I\u2019ve tenured as a Scoutmaster for my son\u2019s Boys Scout Troop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My wife has switched jobs and is now closer to home and enjoys her job much more now. She also has become a Girl Scout leader for my daughter\u2019s troop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have grown so much and accomplished so much in the last 10 years that it doesn\u2019t seem like that long ago he had passed. I wish I could sit with him and tell all about the things we\u2019ve seen and done. All of the birthday\u2019s and anniversaries he missed. All of the milestones he never knew about. Hopefully he\u2019s watching from above and smile down upon us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
