Good afternoon loyal readers! Well, our first camping trip of the year is in the history books. We just got back from spending 3 days and nights at the Pine Ridge RV Resort in Frankenmuth, MI. As a shakedown cruise, I would have preferred to stayed somewhere closer, especially since we had to get home quickly\/early on Monday to my kids to the marching band line up time before the parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Memorial Day is a day of remembrance and to honor those members of the military that have given their life to protect the liberties that we hold dear. I have several ancestors and extended members of my family that have served in varying branches of the armed forces. I have traced my family line back to the mid 1800\u2019s and know which wars they have fought. From WWI, and WWII to Vietnam, my family has been blessed to have our soldiers come home safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
